Lifesaver-led.

Research-born.

Aussie-made.

Hi! I’m Nick - the Founder of this endeavour, working towards making water safety as accessible and ubiquitous as sunscreen and helmets.

I came to Australia in 2014 from Europe, with no swimming skills. Through Nippers, I learnt to swim and respect the ocean. Throughout my life, working as a Surf Life Saver, lifeguard, swim teacher, and research lead, I’ve learnt to understand what stands in the way between us and 0 drowning deaths; it finally came to me after conducting a no-equipment rescue of a young child, whilst out camping rurally.

The issue isn’t just a lack of education or awareness - the issue is that by the time you’re desperate for buoyancy with no lifeguards around, it’s probably too late. So is the solution lifejackets at the beach? Of course not.

The ethos is much simpler: we will make water safety devices tiny, discrete and fashionable so you want to wear it as an accessory first. Safe, non-pressurised, effective.

Is it a tracker band, or ALIS? Or both?

We’ve got a great team of innovators, engineering experts, designers, psychology professionals and chemists who are at the forefront of working to our goal of preventing drownings, and we are excited about the road ahead.
